BIOGRAPHY
FAKE_FRIENDS is the project bringing together JACIDOREX and AIROD, two established names in the European techno scene. Working together, they combine their individual approaches into something distinct, unrestrained and forward-looking, with a light touch of irony running through it. Their sound moves between trance, acid and bouncy techno, resisting a single fixed category. Galloping melodies, catchy vocals and punchy acid lines define the productions, shaped by an approach that stays open to unpredictability. Live, the two work as complementary forces. Their sets are built on the interplay between them, aiming for an experience that is direct, physical and unifying on the dancefloor. The duo played their first B2B set on November 8, 2025, at Rave Rebels (Belgium), ahead of the release of their first track, "Obsession," in early December 2025. Further dates follow in Bordeaux on March 28 and at Evasion Festival in June 2026.
