BOY&GIRL work at the intersection of techno and trance, moving between the two with occasional detours into hard house and groove. Their sets are built around momentum: a steady accumulation of energy that rewards full attention rather than instant gratification. There's a playfulness to their approach, a willingness to let humour and sensuality sit alongside the more driving elements of their sound, without letting either take over. It's a balance they seem to enjoy finding live, set by set. Their productions carry the same character as their DJ sets: precise, purposeful, and shaped by a clear sense of what they want the music to do in a room. They let the work speak for itself rather than framing it around themselves. They've shared bills and studio time with artists including Sara Landry, Fenrick, Bennett, Emilija, and DJ IP, and have collaborated on tracks with DJ IP, Dan Heist, and Madpace, relationships that reflect the community they're building around their sound.
