Bárbara Lago grew up in a small town in the north of Spain and moved to A Coruña in 2015, where her relationship with electronic music began to take shape. She had been drawn to the scene since her teens, spending years attending events before buying her first DJ equipment at 22. Within a year she was playing in local clubs. Her residency at El Pelícano in A Coruña, which followed a series of performances at the Wake Up Electronic Parties, ran for roughly four years and became a formative period in her development as a DJ, extending her presence across the Spanish and Portuguese scenes. Her sound has moved through several phases: from melodic techno toward acid techno and industrial textures, then into hard techno and, more recently, trance. What has stayed constant is a feel for contrast, cold, harsh textures set against driving rhythm, and a rawness that keeps her sets close to their rave roots. She has played festivals and clubs including Dreambeach, Florida 135, City Hall, Family Club, LAB, Rebels and El Row, sharing lineups with artists such as Amelie Lens, Oscar Mulero, Paco Osuna, I Hate Models and Fjaak. As a producer, she released her debut EP, Emergency Control, in September 2023 on No Mercy Records, comprising three original tracks and two remixes by Skryption and Marco Leckbert. She also contributed the track "World in Chaos" to InnerGate for Ukraine – #StandWithUkraine, a compilation released by the Berlin label INNERGATED.
